MLD is Used for conditions such as lymphoedema (both primary and secondary) and post surgical procedures.
If MLD is going to help, you will see improvements After your first session.
With some forms of lymphoedema it is advised that you wear compression garments in order to maintain improvements gains during our sessions. It may also be worth looking into other lifestyle factors that can contribute to worsening lymphoedema such as diet and exercise.
Without an initial assessment, it is not always possible to say how many treatments a client will require. A general idea is:
Post breast cancer upper limb lymphoedema: up to 4 x a week for 1-2 weeks then up to 2 x a week for a further 1-2 weeks before weaning off and self managing.
Post surgery eg vaser: your surgeon will normally recommend the number of sessions but it can be every day or every other day for 1-2 weeks

Clinical pilates is a form of exercise which combines tradition Pilates style exercises with Physiotherapy assessment and clinical expertise, in order to deliver a personalised program plan for the client’s specific needs. I trained through APPI and have worked with many of London’s top clinical pilates physios over the years to refine my skills.
Clinical Pilates is a great form of exercise for any one but works particularly well for those recovering from surgery or an injury, during and after pregnancy, or for client’s who wish to get their body’s more resilient in order to avoid injury.
It promotes body stability, strength and flexibility and improves client’s body control and awareness.
Some clients come for clinical Pilates sessions once a week for maintenance, others come twice a week for 4-6 weeks in order to gain improvements and return to sport. Every one is individual when it comes to how many sessions they want to do and how often.
All reformer sessions are 1:1
