Unplugged Physio (UP): Workshops for Schools and Workplaces

Prevent pain and problems before they happen

We’re in a posture pandemic.

Screens are winning. Backs, necks, and shoulders are paying the price.

I teach simple, daily movement habits that protect bodies in a world built for sitting, slouching, and staring down.

Just like brushing your teeth, a couple of simple exercises a day can prevent years of pain. 

I help guide employees and pupils to:

  • Reduce pain, stiffness, and fatigue
  • Improve focus and energy
  • Prevent injuries before they happen
  • Move better at their desks, not just after a day of work/school

Work Station Assessments


I offer workstation assessments to help employees set up their desks safely and comfortably. Many people work on laptops placed too low and from poorly fitting chairs or cluttered desks —positions that quietly overload the neck, back, and shoulders over time. I guide employees through simple, practical adjustments to their setup so their workspace supports their body rather than not working against it. 

Assessments include DSE analysis checks, bespoke adjustments to current equipment and set up, a report with recommendations and strategies to guide individuals on how to prevent work-related pain/issues. Assessments can be done in person in your home/work or remotely.

On-site Clinical Pilates Workshops

When I’m on-site, I can also run clinical Pilates sessions for employees. These sessions focus on teaching effective breathing, stability, and simple mobility exercises designed to support the body through daily desk demands. Just as we brush our teeth every day to prevent decay, the movements I teach help maintain the health of the spine and joints—reducing pain, improving resilience, and keeping the body working well over time.

Tailored School Workshops

For Schools I help students:

  • Build body awareness early
  • Prevent neck, back, and shoulder pain
  • Learn simple exercises they can do anywhere
  • Develop habits that last a lifetime
  • All delivered via tailored assemblies, small group sessions, with follow up support for parents & guardians

Sports-specific workshops

I also deliver sport-specific workshops in schools, tailored to the needs of individual teams—whether that’s rowing, football, tennis, or more. Sessions cover effective warm-ups and cool-downs, injury-prevention screening, and movement strategies that can improve performance. For first teams, the focus is on moving faster, stronger, and more efficiently—so athletes stay on the field and gain the edge they need to win.
